I have always been fascinated with the beauty of the world and its people.

From a young child drawing, painting and photographing to a young man working in Glass and Ceramics, my experience of the world has been an expressive one using creative arts of various mediums.

Now I find myself returning to oil painting with a far greater understanding of what it is I am reflecting.

A moment in time can be expressed in so many ways depending on the context and feeling. If I want to capture an image of something beautiful in the world around me, I take a photograph. These days a digital one. If I want to express how I feel about someone or somewhere, I paint in oils.
